What is Norfolk Mental Health Advocacy Service?

Our aim is to help you express your views, wishes and concerns to ensure your voice is heard. Norfolk Mental Heath Advocacy Service exists to provide Advocates for people with mental health problems whether in hospital or in the community.

We are a totally independent organisation and have a Management Advisory Group, consisting of past and present service users, overseeing our policies. Approaches from potential new members are welcome!

Our independence is key to our work as clients may need support in disputes with, for example, NHS or Social Services’ decisions.

The current organisation was created following the amalgamation of Norfolk Mental Health Advocacy Project and West Norfolk Mental Heath Advocacy Service

Currently we have offices in Norwich and in Kings Lynn, but hope to establish satellites in other parts of the county.

If you would like to know more, you can download our leaflet here.

If you are interested in finding out more please phone either of our offices, or you can contact us by email the details are at the bottom of the webpages
